Common questions
Where do I buy this?
This product is sold on Gumroad. The link is at the top of this page and at the end. Purchase, follow the receipt link, run the app in your browser.
Is this a VST plugin?
No. This is a web app that exports MIDI files. It runs in your browser, works offline once loaded, and produces .mid files you import into any DAW.
Which DAWs work?
Any DAW that imports MIDI, which is all of them. Reaper, Ableton, Logic, FL Studio, Cubase, Studio One, Pro Tools, anything else.
Which drum samplers does it map to?
Four MIDI map presets covering Get Good Drums, Superior Drummer, EZdrummer, and Drumforge. The MIDI is plain General MIDI compatible, so any sampler works with manual remapping.
Can I save my own grooves?
Yes. Edit a preset on the grid, save it as a custom groove, and it persists in your browser session.
What about live drummers?
This is for programming drum demos and writing parts before a real drummer tracks them. It is not a replacement for a live drummer on a finished record.
Can I use the exported MIDI in commercial releases?
Yes. Use the exported MIDI freely in commercial releases. The license restricts redistribution of the tool itself, not the output.
